The city of silchar also a have many significant  religious places which are visited by the tourists every year. Iskcon Temple: the Iskcon temple in Silchar is located 3kms away from the Silchar railway station on the Satsang Ashram.  The temple is dedicated to lord Krishna and is a must see temple in Silchar.

Narsing Akhra :  this is an ancient temple located near silchar. In the year 1846, sage Bhagwan Das Ramayati established the temple.  It attracts devotees from around the world.
