Cachar Club

Cachar Club is located in the heart of the city Silchar. Today, the century old Cachar Club stands as an institution that reminds us not the darker side of the ‘British Rule’ in India but to the contrary the presence of the Cachar club showcases the good and the constructive work done by the British during their tenure. The Club was established by the ‘Sahibs’, the club was mainly an “all European Club” and natives were not  allowed to be a member of the club.

The then members of the Club developed the modern form of ‘Polo’ during the late years of 19th century. The Cachar Club for the British was like a home away from home.

Presently, the club is completely renovated with all the sophisticated design and style and it is maintained by trained professional persons who are qualified in hospitality business.

Facilities in Cachar Club

The Cachar club provides many facilities like bar, restaurant, lodging, health club, conference hall, card room, billiard to name a few. The Cachar Club offers the following facilities to the members:

Polo bar

The Polo Bar serves a wide range of cocktails and beverages and with prompt efficiency and professional skills.

Orchid Dining

Orchid Dining is one of the best restaurants in the North Eastern part of India that offers quality food and best services to its members Mouth watering delicacies awaits in the Orchid Dining.

Lodging

High Quality lodging facility is available for the guest and the members of the club. Rooms in Advance can be booked by its members for their guests.

Billiard and Card Room

The Club also offers card room facility to the lovers of card games. The Cachar Club also has its billiard table for the lovers of billiard, pool, snookers and nine balls. To book the billiard table one have to make a payment of Rs 75/- per hour.

Health Club

The Cachar Club has a well equipped gymnasium open for the guest as well as for its members and with highly professional trainers. The Club against a minimum monthly subscription opened the doors of the Health Club to Non Members also.

Conference Hall

The club also has a conference hall that provides facility to arrange any conference at a very affordable package which includes Morning tea/snacks, Indian lunch followed by Evening tea/snacks.

Parking

Another facility offered by the Club to its members and guests is the spacious parking area is. No parking fee is charged from a member. The parking area is well guarded and  well maintained.by security agency.

Medical facilities

The club also offers medical and para Medicalto the guest and its members. Doctors are available on call. The Club arranges ambulance and other facilities in case of emergency.

Room service is provided by the Club to its boarders 24 x7.A highly qualified, experienced professional team works 24 hours to provide any service possible to a boarder to the ultimate satisfaction.
